E.ON Ruhrgas Norge and Norwegian Energy Company ASA (Noreco) have entered into an agreement whereby Noreco will acquire a 20 % interest in PL434 in the Norwegian Sea by carrying a share of E.ON Ruhrgas Norges`s drilling cost. EON Ruhrgas Norge will retain a 10 % interest in PL 434. The licence includes the Ronaldo prospect, which is scheduled to be drilled in January 2011.

ERN, on behalf of the PL562 partnership, is embarking on a 1350 km2 seismic acquisition program on the license. The license was awarded in APA2009 where acquisition, processing and interpretation of the new seismic forms a major part of the lisense work program.

ERN has participated in drilling the 6507/5-6S exploration well on the Snadd prospect located approximately 2 km west of the large Skarv development in the Norwegian Sea.

On June 12th 17 ERN employees will participate in the Nordsjørittet. The cycle race starts in Egersund and ends in Sandnes. The 91 kilometre race takes place on a mix of gravel and asphalt.

Centrica Resources (Norge) AS, operator of production licence 433, has completed the drilling of wildcat well 6506/9-2 S in the Norwegian Sea. The well proved gas/condensate. The well was drilled about 10 kilometers north of the Smørbukk gas and condensate field.

The Njord Field partnership has taken a development decision for the Njord North West Flank (NWF).
The NWF consists of two geological structures discovered in years 2000 and 2007. The NWF is located six kilometres northwest of the Njord platform, and will be developed and produced by two long reach wells drilled from the Njord facilities.

The license partners in PL416 have decided to drill an exploration well in Production License 416 in 2011.
The well will target the Upper Jurassic Breiflabb prospect, located due southwest of the Troll Field. PL416 was awarded in APA 2006. To arrive at this decision ERN has acquired an EM survey and a new 3D survey and conducted in-depth technical evaluations.

E.ON Ruhrgas Norge (ERN) awarded three new licences off Norwegian coast
ERN was assigned operatorship and a 30 % participating interest in PL558 in the latest Norwegian licensing round. PL558 is located between the ongoing Skarv field development and the PL350 licence area, likewise operated by ERN.

ERN has grown significantly since its establishment in 2003. The business and not the least staff has grown considerably.
