NJORD
Njord is an oil- and gas field located in the Norwegian Sea, offshore Mid Norway. E.ON Ruhrgas Norge AS is the field's largest owner with a 30% interest.
The field currently produces 2 bcm of rich gas per year and in addition oil. The main focus now is to maximize value by minimize natural production decline. To achieve this, an in-field drilling program adding new production wells was started fall 2008. Longer term value enhancement will come from utilizing the Njord infrastructure by tie-in of nearby satellite fields like the North West Flank discovery.
SKARV
Skarv is a gas condensate and oil field development located in the Norwegian Sea, offshore Mid Norway. E.ON Ruhrgas Norge AS has 28% interest.
PDO was approved in June 2007 and the field is currently under development with first gas expected in 3Q 2011. The development solution is 5 sub-sea templates tied back to a floating production storage and offloading vessel (FPSO). The facilities on the vessel can handle about 19 MSm3/d (670 scft/d) of gas and 13,500 Sm3/d of oil (85,000 bbl/d). There are also several prospects nearby which when proven, can be tied back to the FPSO in the future.
